ALGERIA, CZECH REP. EXPRESS WILLINGNESS TO BOOST CO-OPERATION
ALGIERS, — The Speaker of Algeria’s Council of the Nation (upper House of Parliament), Abdelkader Bensalah, has held talks here with the ambassador of the Czech Republic, Martin Vavra, and stressed both countries’ willingness to develop bilateral co-operation, particularly in the economic field.
The Council said in a statement following Thursday’s meeting that the two sides had broached the long-lasting bilateral relations and underlined both countries’ willingness to develop bilateral cooperation, particularly in the economic field.
The Czech ambassador “expressed the wish to see the works of the Algerian-Czech Joint Commission, scheduled for the end of 2016 or early 2017, lay the foundations of a fruitful co-operation in various fields”.
Bensalah recalled Algeria’s willingness to work with its partners on the basis of the win-win principle, noting “the possibility of expanding co-operation prospects with the Czech Republic through the exploitation of the offered opportunities”.
