ALGERIAN INTERIOR MINISTER ON WORKING VISIT TO QATAR
DOHA, — Algerian Minister of Interior and Local Authorities Noureddine Bedoui has arrived here for a working visit to Qatar as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral co-operation.
This visit, which began Sunday, will culminate in the signing of a convention between the two countries’ interior ministries.
During his visit, Bedoui will hold talks with Qatari officials on ways to strengthen bilateral relations.
Algeria and Qatar have concluded several co-operation agreements in various fields, including 13 agreements and memorandums of understanding signed during the meeting of the High Joint Commission held in Doha on November 2014. The concerned sectors are notably youth, sports, higher education, fishing and Customs.
Bedoui is accompanied by the Director-General of the National Police, Major-General Abdelghani Hamel.
