ALGERIAN PM BEGINS THREE-DAY VISIT TO CUBA FROM OCT 12
ALGIERS, -- Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal will pay an official three-day visit to Havana beginning Wednesday at the invitation of the First Deputy Prime Minister of Cuba's State Council and Council of Ministers, Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez.
The Office of the Prime Minister in Algiers said in a statement Tuesday that the visit was aimed at boosting the traditional friendship relations between the two countries. During his visit, Sellal and his host will discuss bilateral relations and co-operation in the political, economic and social fields.
The meeting will be an opportunity for the two sides to "exchange views on topical, international and regional issues of common interest", the statement added.
The prime minister will be accompanied by Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation Ramtane Lamamra and Minister of Health Population and Hospital Reform Abdelmalek Boudiaf.
