ALGERIAN PM HOLDS TALKS WITH CUBAN FIRST VICE-PRESIDENT
HAVANA, — Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal, who is on a visit to Cuba, has held talks here with Cuban First Vice-President of the Council of State and Council of Ministers Miguel Diaz Canel Bermudez.
During their discussions Thursday, which were attended by Algerian Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation Ramtane Lamamra and Health, Population and Hospital Reform Minister Abdelmalek Boudiaf, the two sides focused on issues of common interest, as well as on bilateral relations and ways to maintain them at their current excellent level.
Sellal, who arrived in Havana Wednesday for a three-day official visit at the invitation of Bermudez, also held talks Wednesday with the President of Cuba’s National Assembly of People’s Power, Esteban Lazo Hernandez.
Earlier, Sellal visited the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology and the Museum of the Cuban Revolution here.
