KENYAN PRESIDENT SAYS ALGERIA AN IMPORTANT PARTNER TO HIS COUNTRY
LOME, TOGO, — Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, saying Algeria will remain an important partner for his country, has expressed determination by the two countries to carry on co-operating to boost their partnership.
He said this during discussions here over the weekend with Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal, who was representing President Abdelaziz Bouteflika at an Extraordinary Summit of the African Union (AU) on Maritime Security and Safety and Development in Africa.
The Kenyan leader later told the media that Algeria “will remain an important partner, and we will continue to work together to boost our partnership”.
