TUNISIAN PM CONVEYS FRIENDSHIP MESSAGE FROM HIS PRESIDENT TO ALGERIAN LEADER

ALGIERS, -- The visiting Tunisian Prime Minister, Youssef Chahed, says he has conveyed a message of friendship from his President, Beji CaA�d Essebsi, to Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika when he called on the Algerian leader her.

He also broached with President Bouteflika the different aspects of the co-operation between the two neighbouring North African countries, the Tuniaan prime minister told the media following his audience with the Algerian Head of State Sunday.

Chahed said: "I conveyed to President Bouteflika a friendship message from his Tunisian counterpart, President Beji CaA�d Essebsi, and informed him about the discussions he held during his visit.

"The state of co-operation between the two countries in terms of the fight against terrorism, economic and commercial co-operation and ways to raise them to higher levels, were among the issues broached."

He said that he assured President Bouteflika that the Tunisian government would further promote co-operation with Algeria, underlining the exceptional relations between the two countries.
