The Chinese Parliament approved today the appointment Li Qiang as a the country’s new Prime Minister for a five-year term.

The approval comes after Chinese President Xi Jinping signed a presidential order to appoint Li Qiang as premier Saturday at the ongoing session of China’s national legislature.
