Five civilians, including a child, were killed late last night in a series of Israeli airstrikes and shelling in northern and southern Gaza, according to local reports.
In Khan Younis province, south of the enclave, Israeli aircraft targeted a house belonging to the Abu Daqqa family in the town of Abasan al-Kabira. The attack resulted in the murder of three individuals and injuries to others, who were transported to Nasser Hospital in the city.
In a separate attack, two more people, including a child, were killed when Israeli forces struck a residential apartment near the al-Houja junction in the Jabalia refugee camp, located in northern Gaza.
Additionally, paramedics from the Palestinian Red Crescent transported injuries to Al-Awda Hospital in the Nusairat camp following an Israeli strike on a house belonging to the Al-Qassas family in the northeast of the camp.
Another seven individuals with serious injuries were taken to Nasser Hospital after an Israeli airstrike hit a house in the village of al-Fukha
ri, east of Khan Younis.
Meantime, Israeli artillery continued its bombardment targeting the eastern and southern areas of al-Zaytoun, southeast of Gaza City, as well as the western parts of Gaza City, including al-Rimal, Tel al-Hawa, and the outskirts of al-Shati camp, in addition to the al-Sabra neighborhood.
Shelling also affected the northern regions of the Nusairat camp and the western parts of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has thus far resulted in at least 40,602 documented Palestinian fatalities and 93,855 injuries, with many more victims trapped under debris.
