His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today ratified and promulgated Law (17) of 2022 on endorsing the Statute of the Women Development Organisation in the Member States of the Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC), following its approval by the Shura and Representatives Councils.

The Statute of the Women Development Organisation in OIC Member States was adopted during the 37th session of OIC Foreign Ministers’ Council, held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, on May 18-20, 2010.

The Prime Minister and ministers, each in their capacity, shall implement the provisions of this law which takes effect upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
