Four people were killed Wednesday in an Israeli drone strike on a car near the Lebanese-Syrian border.

The National News Agency (NNA) of Lebanon said that an Israeli drone attack targeted a car as it crossed a Syrian checkpoint near the border with Lebanon, killing three Palestinians and one Lebanese.

On the other hand, the Israeli warplanes carried out a series of airstrikes on the heights of Mount Ain Al Tineh and the outskirts of Tomat-Niha in the Lebanese West Bekaa region, leading to the destruction of a number of homes and facilities. A security source said that the Israeli warplanes flew at low and medium levels in the skies of the western and central sectors of southern Lebanon.

In addition, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced in a statement that an Israeli army drone raid on a truck last night resulted in the initial toll of one person being injured, while in the morning hours, the Israeli army fired guided missiles toward the vicinity of the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms on the outskirts
of the town of Aitaroun.

Since the beginning of the Israeli genocide on the Gaza Strip on Oct. 7, southern Lebanon has been exposed to a dangerous escalation and repeated attacks that have resulted in the killing and wounding of dozens, and the displacement of thousands of families from their homes.
