Qatar, Thailand Discuss Fight Against Crime

Doha, September 30 (QNA) – Minister of State for Interior Affairs HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani met here today with Princess Princess Bajrakitiyabha Mahidol, Ambassador and President of the 21st session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in the Kingdom of Thailand.
During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation in issues of common interest and ways of enhancing them.
Then, the two sides held a session of talks at the Ministry of Interior  on coordination and cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Kingdom of Thailand and their efforts on the regional and international levels in the fight against crime.
The talks also dealt with Qatar’s hosting the Thirteenth UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice scheduled to take place in Doha, Qatar in 2015.  (QNA)
