Turkish Airlines Cancels 49 Flights to German Cities

Turkish Airlines announced the cancelation of 49 scheduled flights to German cities on March 26-27, due to workers’ strikes at German airports.

Turkish Airlines said in a statement that its flights scheduled for tomorrow from Istanbul Airport to Frankfurt, as well as from and to other airports have all been canceled.

A broad strike called on by unions pressing for higher wages in the face of inflation is expected to paralyze Germany’s transport sector.

Earlier this month, several German airports witnessed the cancelation of many flights, due to strikes by airport employees.
