Ukraine: 10 Injured in Russian Missile Attack on Kharkiv

Ukrainian authorities have announced that ten people were injured as a result of a Russian missile attack targeting the town of Derhachi in Kharkiv region.

Ten casualties have been confirmed, Ukraine news agency (Ukrinform) quoted local administration chief Viacheslav Zadorenko as saying.

“Fires broke out in the residential sector as a result of the Russian shelling of Derhachi. As per tentative reports, Russia employed cluster-type munitions,” he noted.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian artillery shelled the town of Kupiansk in Kharkiv region around noon on Sunday, injuring a 66-year-old woman.

Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry stated that air defenses downed a Ukrainian drone over Kursk region, near the border with Ukraine.

The ministry said in a statement that an attempt by Ukraine to conduct an attack on Russian soil using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) was thwarted.
