US stocks closed mostly lower on Thursday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 222.05 points, or 0.54%, ending at 40,752.92.
The S and P 500 shed 16.39 points, or 0.30%, closing at 5,503.68. It marked a third straight day of losses.
The Nasdaq Composite ended 42.15 points higher, or 0.25, finishing at 17,126.45. (QNA)
