VENEZUELA’S MADURO VISITS ALGERIA TO STRENGTHEN BILATERAL TIES

ALGIERS, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro arrived in Algeria Sunday to strengthen the diplomatic ties between the two countries, as part of his trip to Turkey for the inauguration of Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday.

Both Venezuela and Algeria have several strategic agreements in the fields of energy, politics, communication, education, culture, commerce, and industry.

Maduro was received by the president of the National People’s Assembly of Algeria Said Bouhadja, after which they held a meeting “to strengthen ties of cooperation between the two nations,” the official statement noted.
