ALGIERS, — The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, arrives hereTuesday for a friendly visit to Algeria at the invitation of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, the Presidency said in a statement issued here Monday.

At the invitation of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, his Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, will pay a fraternity visit to Algeria on Tuesday 29 November 2016, said the statement.

The statement added that the talks between the two leaders would enable the two countries to further boost their already strong and fruitful co-operation and partnership, in particular the different joint industrial projects which are underway in Algeria.

President Bouteflika and Sheikh Tamim will also analyse the challenges facing the Arab world, the situation of the energy market as well as other regional and international issues of common interest.
