Jenin-Tubas-Ma’an-The number of martyrs in Jenin and Tubas has risen to 11 during the ongoing Israeli army raid. The Israeli occupation army announced, after midnight on Tuesday, the launch of a military operation in Jenin and Tulkarm in the northern West Bank.

According to Yedioth Ahronoth, the large-scale military operation in the camps in the northern West Bank to arrest wanted persons and destroy the infrastructure in the Jenin and Nour Shams refugee camps near Tulkarm, and in the neighboring city of Tubas, is expected to continue for several days.

Two divisions of the occupation army are participating in the operation, and most of the forces are operating near Tulkarm, in the area from which the attack in Tel Aviv took place.

The Israeli military and Shin Bet spokesman said that “the army forces have begun an operation to combat what he called “terrorism in Jenin and Tulkarm.” The Israeli occupation army is surrounding hospitals near the refugee camps, including Ibn Sina Hospital in Jenin, to prevent
the wounded from reaching them, and is examining patients who enter.

The large-scale military operation includes extensive air cover, hundreds of soldiers, and the army is using bulldozers. According to Palestinian reports, the army has closed all entrances to the city of Jenin.

The death toll from the military operation was distributed between the cities of Jenin and Tubas. Six people were killed in Jenin, including four in an airstrike on a vehicle near the town of Sayr and two by the bullets of the occupation soldiers. Five people were killed in Tubas, including two in an airstrike on a house in the Far’a camp in the city of Tubas.

Late Tuesday evening, the Israeli occupation forces s
tormed several areas in the West Bank, specifically the northern West Bank, in Jenin, Nablus, Tubas and Tulkarm.

The number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank has risen to at least 653, in addition to about 5,400 wounded.
