Geneva, The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, said on Tuesday that nearly 182 of the agency’s employees had been killed since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

Lazzarini added that UNRWA will be able to remain resilient until July after the announcement of new contributions, expressing his aspiration to continue its operations until August. He highlighted that most donors have resumed their funding operations for UNRWA, albeit small number of countries have not yet decided to resume their funding process.

He pointed out that more food supplies have flowed during the current month, but they are not sufficient amid challenging situation facing aid convoys.
