The 22nd edition of the Tanjazz Festival, initially scheduled for September 22-24 in Tangier, has been postponed to a later date, in consideration of the grief over the Al Haouz earthquake, according to the organizers.

“In this period of grief, emergency measures and solidarity, the Tanjazz festival is postponed to a later date,” stressed the Seven PM agency, organizer of the event, in a statement published on the festival’s official website.

“We would like to express our solidarity with those affected and their families, as well as with the rescue teams and volunteers who are working tirelessly to bring help and comfort” to those affected, noted the same source.

“In the face of the tragedy our country is experiencing, the Seven PM agency, the Tanjazz festival teams, all the artists and partners would like to express their most sincere condolences to the families and victims of the earthquake,” underlined the statement.
