Turkish authorities announced the rescue of 25 illegal immigrants off the coast of Marmaris district in Mugla province, southwest of the country.
The Turkish Coast Guard Command said in a statement that it received a report about the presence of illegal immigrants on board a rubber boat off the coast of Marmaris, adding that it sent a boat to the area and rescued 25 immigrants.
Turkish authorities constantly announce the arrest of illegal immigrants and the rescue of refugees while trying to reach Europe, on an almost daily basis.
