3,000 police in the ‘annual flag march’ in Jerusalem

Jerusalem – Ma’an – The occupation police announced, on Monday, the route of the annual flag march in the city of Jerusalem, which is organized on the anniversary of the occupation of the eastern part of the city.

The police said in a statement that 3,000 police officers from various teams will deploy in the city during the ‘Jerusalem Day’ celebrations, including the flag march and various tours.

The police added that the ‘flags’ march will pass through the alleys of the Old City, through Damascus Gate, all the way to the Buraq Wall.

The “annual flag march” begins from West Jerusalem all the way to East Jerusalem, all the way to the Buraq Wall, during which dances and prayers are held in the streets of the city, Israeli flags are raised, and streets and roads are closed to Jerusalemites throughout the hours of the march.
