Manila, An earthquake measuring 5.4 magnitude on the Richter scale hit the city of Karamay in the Philippines.
The earthquake occurred 98 km east of Karamay, at a depth of 13.3 km, the US Geological Survey said.
There have been no reports of casualties or material damage due to the earthquake.
A 6-magnitude earthquake struck an island in the central Philippines on May 3, without causing any human or material losses.
The Philippines experiences high volcanic and seismic activity due to its location on the “Ring of Fire”.
