Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Beshara Boutros Al-Rahi, received today representatives of the Foundation of the Honorable Patriarch Estephan Al-Duwaihi, who briefed him on the final legal stage of the process towards his beatification as the dossier will be submitted and discussed at the Congregation of Saints in Rome in February 2024.
As per Al-Rahi’s guiding instructions, emphasis was placed on making the new year 2024 the year of the end of the legal stage and the beginning of preparations for the process of beatification of the honorable Patriarch Estephan Al-Duwaihy.
The petitioner for the beatification also focused on ‘intensifying the prayers so that the Lord may bless us with a great celebration that the Church of Lebanon and the East deserves, through the prayers of the honorable, Patriarch Estephan Al-Duwaihi.”
