Renzo Tesuri scored the only goal of the match in the 30th minute.
Tucuman raised its score to 25 points in second place, while Racing Club dropped to seventh place with 21 points, having only won one match in the last five rounds, two draws and two losses.
In another match, Instituto ACC beat its host Banfield 2-1.
Velez Sarsfield leads the Argentine League standings with 27 points.
