Bayern Munich’s Lucas Hernandez trained with the ball at his feet again after the injury he sustained in the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the club announced on social media on Monday.

The French defender moved to the next stage of the recovery process.

The 27-year-old was injured in France’s World Cup group stage opener against Australia on Nov. 22.

Bayern, who will play Manchester City on Tuesday in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals in England, announced that their French striker, Matthijs Till, who has been out of action since the end of March over a muscle injury, returned to training on Sunday.
