Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdallah Bou Habib, on Thursday met with US Ambassador to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea, with whom he discussed the latest political developments locally and regionally, and the UNIFIL’s mandate renewal decision expected later this month at the Security Council. Talks also touched on the recent meeting of the Arab Ministerial Contact Committee on Syria, held in Cairo. Caretaker Minister Bou Habib also received British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell, and they discussed enhancing the bilateral relations, in addition to the UNIFIL’s mandate renewal decision later this month.
