In a visit to Rabat, Rob Butler, the special envoy of the British Prime Minister for trade in Morocco, emphasized the tremendous potential for the development of commercial relations between the United Kingdom and Morocco.

“Last year, bilateral trade amounted to nearly £3.5 billion. This is a real illustration of the potential opportunities that exist between the two countries,” Butler told the press after his meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita.

The United Kingdom and Morocco can develop their commercial relations in various sectors, he argued, specifying that green energy is an area that offers “huge potential for both our countries.”

In this regard, he noted that trade can serve as a locomotive, not only for economic growth but also for the development of society and the emergence of prosperous nations.
