CAF Champions League Semi-finals: Egypt’s Al Ahly Play ES Tunis, Wydad in Daunting Task against Mamelodi Sundowns

Egypt’s Al Ahly SC are seeking to secure their advance to the CAF Champions League final for the fourth consecutive time when they host Esperance Sportive de Tunis in semi-final second leg on Friday.

Egypt’s giants, who pursue their 11th CAF Champions League trophy, won 3-0 in the first leg in Rades after an overwhelming performance.

On the other hand, ES Tunis enter the game under interim coach Anas Al Busaidi, replacing Nabil Maaloul, who resigned following last week’s home defeat.

Meanwhile, holders Wydad Casablanca of Morocco will play Mamelodi Sundowns in Pretoria on Saturday. Both sides played out a goalless draw in their first leg in Casablanca.
