Chinese President, Xi Jinping, met on Monday, with the President of Vietnam, To Lam, who is visiting Beijing.
Xinhua News Agency quoted the Chinese President as saying that the visit -being the first by the Vietnamese President since taking office- reflects the great importance he attaches to the relations between the two countries.
Xi Jinping affirmed that he is ready for forging good working relations with the President of Vietnam to build a shared future between the two countries.
