Civil Service and Government Development Bureau Celebrates Graduation of 7th Batch of Leadership Program

The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau celebrated Thursday the graduation of the seventh batch of the program to develop the skills of occupants of leadership and supervisory positions in government agencies. The program brought together 140 participants.

In a speech, HE President of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau Abdulaziz bin Nasser Al Khalifa extended thanks and gratitude to all government agencies who are doing their best to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030, and their continuous work in implementing the tasks and roles assigned to them.

His Excellency also praised the improvements and updates they are making to ensure the achievement of national goals of human development and the advancement of various sectors in the country, especially the preparation of a generation of distinguished and qualified national cadres and leaders to deal with various work conditions and challenges with flexibility and intelligence.

His Excellency thanked the Excellence Center for Training and Consulting at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies, for cooperating with the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau’s Institute of Public Administration, in implementing and making this program a success, which is an investment of national human resources.

His Excellency stressed the necessity of perseverance and striving for development, highlighting the importance of continuing to learn, refining various skills and innovating at work, while emphasizing the role and competence of the Civil Service and Government Development Bureau in the necessary assistance and support for all.

The program seeks to develop the skills of leadership positions in government agencies including department directors, their assistants and heads of units, through a group of training workshops that help refine their cognitive and intellectual skills, to ensure that they can perform their tasks and responsibilities according to the best standards.
