Commerce and Industry Ministry Showcases Digital Transformation Initiatives at ConteQ Expo 2024

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry participated in the modern technology exhibition for construction and services ConteQ Expo 2024, which concludes its activities on Wednesday, at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC).

The Ministry’s pavilion displays initiatives to support technology and innovation in the construction and services sectors, with a focus on digital transformation and the adoption of modern technologies.

It also features the services provided to local and international investors, especially small and medium enterprises.

The pavilion also highlights laws and legislation that encourage foreign investment, such as the law regulating the investment of non-Qatari capital in economic activity, which allows full ownership by foreign investors in many sectors, laws regulating non-Qatari ownership of real estate, and partnerships between the public and private sectors.

In the same context, the Ministry participates in a discussion panel on policies that open doors to drive innovation and en
trepreneurship.

The Ministry also highlights initiatives dedicated to facilitating the practice of business, such as the single window platform, and electronic services provided through the Ministry’s official website and mobile phone application.

A number of entities are participating in the Ministrys pavilion, including the Investment Promotion Agency, Qatar Free Zones Authority, and the Qatar Financial Centre, as these entities highlight the attractive business environment in Qatar and support for digital transformation. (QNA)
