Demolition of residential apartments and a commercial facility in Jerusalem
Jerusalem – Ma’an – Today, Tuesday, the occupation municipality forced a Jerusalemite to demolish three residential apartments with his own hands in Silwan, while the occupation municipality carried out the demolition of a commercial facility in Al-Issawiya.
Demolition in Silwan
Municipal bulldozers, their crews, and police forces stormed the town of Silwan, to implement a decision to demolish residential facilities in the town belonging to the Al-Halhouli family, under the pretext of building without a license. During this, Al-Halhouli was forced to implement the decision to self-demolish his three homes in order to avoid paying the ‘demolition fee’ to the municipality crews and the forces accompanying them.
Large forces of the occupation army surrounded the vicinity of the demolition site, and continued to be deployed at the main intersections in the town of Silwan, coincid
ing with the demolition operation.
The occupation municipality also photographed the facilities that the freed prisoner, Imad Abeisan, demolished yesterday, under the pretext of building without a license.
Al-Issawiya
The occupation municipality’s vehicles stormed the town of Al-Issawiya and demolished a commercial facility, a printing press, belonging to the Alyan family.
