An earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude on the Richter scale struck on Sunday the US state of Alaska.
The epicenter of the quake occurred 178 km of Nikolski, at a depth of 10 km, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).
There have been no reports of casualties or material damage caused by the earthquake so far.
Last Tuesday, a 5 magnitude earthquake struck the coast of Unimak Island in the state of Alaska, at a depth of 39.5 km.
Alaska is located above the Pacific Ring of Fire, an area where tectonic plates meet, and the friction of which leads to strong seismic and volcanic activity.
