GCC Secretary-General Jassim Mohammed Al Budaiwi met today with the UN Secretary-General Special Envoy in Yemen Hans Grundberg and discussed the latest developments in Yemen.

Al Budaiwi stressed during the meeting on the GCC’s commitment to support all UN efforts to establish security, stability, and development in Yemen. He stressed the importance of ending the crisis in Yemen and reaching a political resolution in line with the GCC initiative and its mechanisms, the outcomes of the comprehensive national dialogue, and UN Security Council resolution 2216.
