General

Hostilities escalated overnight as heavy artillery shelling and airstrikes by the Israeli enemy targeted multiple locations in southern Lebanon, causing significant damage to properties and agricultural lands.

The conflict intensified late at night when enemy forces launched heavy artillery shells on the outskirts of the towns of Naqoura, Jabal al-Labouneh, Alma al-Shaab, and Tayr Harfa.

Subsequently, hostile warplanes carried out airstrikes around midnight, targeting the vicinity of the towns of Aita al-Shaab and Ramyeh. The attacks inflicted severe damage on properties, including farmland and uninhabited houses.

Throughout the night and into the early hours of the morning, the enemy continued to escalate the situation by firing illumination flares over border villages adjacent to the Blue Line.

In addition, reconnaissance aircraft were reported flying over the districts of Tyre and Bint Jbeil, extending their surveillance reach to the Litani River and the coastal areas.

Around 6 a.m., the hostilities c
ontinued as enemy positions in Ras Naqoura opened heavy machine-gun fire towards Jabal al-Labouneh and Jabal al-Alam in the western sector. The persistent shelling has severely impacted the daily lives of local farmers, particularly those tending to banana and citrus groves in the Naqoura plain and the outskirts of Hamra and Mansouri, who now find it impossible to work their lands.
