Hebron Governor: The educational process will continue and be regular, especially in closed areas

HEBRON – Ma’an – Hebron Governor Khaled Dudin was briefed on the progress of the new school year in the south of the governorate during his reception on Monday of the Director General of the Civil Affairs Authority in the south, Alaa Qatouf, and the Director General of Education in South Hebron, Mr. Yasser Saleh, and their accompanying staff.

The governor listened to a detailed explanation of the efforts made during the past few days to ensure the success and start of the new school year, specifically in the areas adjacent to the settlements and the racist separation wall, as well as the communities that are exposed to attacks by the occupation and its settlers around the clock.

Dudin stressed that maintaining education and regular school hours in these areas will continue despite all the difficult circumstances. He stressed that all relevant parties will provide everything required to achieve this national goal.

For his part, Saleh explained that the Ministry of Education has a comprehensive plan to ensu
re that students and teachers reach schools and the success of the school year despite all the closures and violations in the south of the governorate. He praised the role of teachers in performing their educational mission in the best possible way, and that this morning witnessed great success in the start of the new school year.

Qatouf stressed that the Civil Affairs Authority is always ready to cooperate with all parties to ensure the continuity and regularity of school hours and to overcome any obstacles despite all the difficult circumstances in the south of the governorate and its vast geographical area, which requires double efforts around the clock to serve citizens.
