The Islamic Resistance on Monday announced in a statement that its air defense unit fired a surface-to-air missile at an Israeli warplane, forcing it to retreat from Lebanese airspace toward occupied Palestine.
The statement emphasized that this action was taken in “support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in solidarity with their brave and honorable resistance.”
