Lebanese Army has arrested 134 persons for trying to cross into Europe via the sea illegally.
A patrol from the Army Intelligence Directorate supported by a military unit arrested 134 persons for trying to illegally enter to one of the European countries via the sea, Lebanese army reported in a statement, adding that the mastermind of the operation was arrested while investigation with the apprehended persons commenced under the supervision of the concerned judiciary.
Lebanese army managed to foil more than one illegal trafficking operation across the sea with the intention of crossing into Europe.
