Men’s Volleyball AFCON: Morocco Thrash Mali 3-0

The Moroccan men’s volleyball team won, here Friday, their round of 16 game against Mali (3-0) at the 24th African Nations Volleyball Championship (2023 AFCON).

Showing impressive performance since the start of the AFCON, Morocco had beat Mali (3-0), Rwanda (3-0) and Senegal (3-0).

Morocco will play its upcoming game (quarter-finals) against Egypt, which beat Keny (3-0).

Fifteen teams are participating in the African Nations Volleyball Championship, divided into 4 groups: group A includes Egypt, Burundi and Algeria, while group B is made up of Tunisia, Mali, Tanzania and Chad.

Cameroon, Kenya, Ghana and Libya are housed in group C, while group D brings together Morocco, Rwanda, Senegal and Gambia.
