Minister of State for International Cooperation Meets Canadian Minister of International Development

Doha, HE Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met with HE Canadian Minister of International Development Ahmed Hussen.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, especially in the international cooperation field, in addition to the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territories, particularly in Gaza Strip, and ways to de-escalate and enhance joint cooperation to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza.

During the meeting, HE the Minister of State for International Cooperation affirmed the State of Qatar’s firm position on condemning all forms of targeting civilians, schools and hospitals, and on the killing of innocent civilians, especially women and children, and practicing collective punishment as reprehensible under any pretext.

HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater stressed the importance of not obstructing humanitarian truce efforts, the delivery of aid, and the necessity of coordinating international and regional efforts to stop the aggression against Gaza and achieve just and comprehensive peace.
