Moroccan Security Forces Arrest 4 ISIS Members

General

Moroccan security forces arrested on Thursday four ISIS members between the ages of 21 and 41, on suspicion of their involvement in preparing to carry out extremely dangerous armed operations targeting vital and sensitive facilities.

The General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance said in a statement carried by Moroccan news agency (MAP) that its special forces initiated intervention and arrest procedures in separate and simultaneous operations, targeting suspects in the cities of Sale, Tangier and Tetouan.

The four arrested persons were kept under the supervision of the Public Prosecution in charge of terrorism and extremism cases, in order to uncover all their plans and projects, and monitor their possible connections to armed organizations outside Morocco, the statement added.
