Gaza – The humanitarian operation, deployed by Morocco in application of the Very High Instructions of HM King Mohammed VI for the Palestinian populations of Gaza and the holy city of East Al Quds, brings a smile to the Palestinians’ faces at the start of the holy month of Ramadan, said the spokesperson for the Palestinian Red Crescent in the Gaza Strip, Raed Nems.
In a statement to MAP, Nems welcomed this “unprecedented” humanitarian operation, underscoring that it has alleviated the suffering of Gaza population, particularly in these difficult humanitarian circumstances that the Gaza Strip has been experiencing for several months.
He pointed out that Morocco has always been at the forefront of aid and support for the Palestinian people during all the hardships they have endured, stressing that this aid, which is the first “humanitarian breakthrough” by land since the start of military operations in Gaza, is in line with the efforts deployed by HM the King, Chairman of the Al Quds Committee.

Nems said that the aid would be distributed in partnership with local charities and organizations in charge of delivering it to the displaced population, as well as to the health sector and reception centers housing some 1.9 million displaced people in the Gaza Strip, a population deprived of the slightest conditions for a dignified life.
His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, Chairman of the Al Quds Committee, has given His Very High Instructions to deploy a humanitarian food aid operation for the Palestinian population in Gaza and the Holy City of Al Quds.
