The Qatar Shooting and Archery Federation is preparing for the Neshan Ooredoo Ramadan Shooting Tournament, to take place at the Lusail Fields Complex from April 1-10.

At least 300 male and female Qatari and resident amateur and professional shooters will compete in air pistol, air rifle, archery and shotgun events.

Participants’ training runs until 9 Ramadan (31 March 2023), whilst the competition will take place from Ramadan 10-19, (April 1-10, 2023).

The top three winners in each of the three categories will receive valuable cash prizes ranging from QR 20,000 – 30,000.

In a press statement, Ooredoo PR Director Sabah Rabiah Al Kuwari expressed his happiness for sponsoring the tournament, one of the many activities and events taking place during the holy month of Ramadan.

Al Kuwari added that Ooredoo has sponsored the Nishan tournament in previous editions as well, based on its endeavor to promote locally the sport of shooting, in cooperation with the Qatar Shooting and Archery Federation, especially given Qatar’s success in international shooting competitions, including Olympic ones.
