Palestinian Injured by Israeli Gunfire in Nablus

One Palestinian sustained a gunshot wound when the Israeli occupation forces broke into Balata camp, east of Nablus city in the occupied West Bank, on Monday morning.

Medical sources told Palestinian news agency (WAFA) that a young man (18 years old) was injured by live ammunition during the Israeli occupation’s withdrawal from the camp.

A 23-year-old Palestinian was violently assaulted by the occupation forces during their raid of the citizens’ houses in the camp, the sources added.

Meanwhile, confrontations erupted between the occupation forces and the citizens in the village of Sarra, southwest of Nablus Governorate.

The confrontations erupted after the occupation forces raided the village. No injuries were reported, local sources reported.

The occupation forces also arrested a child (12 years old) and his father in the village of Al-Jiftlik, north of Jericho, after raiding their house.

Cities, villages and camps across the occupied West Bank experience daily arrest campaigns and incursions by the Is
raeli occupation forces and colonists. The pace of the occupation’s assaults on the Palestinians in the West Bank increased in conjunction with the unprecedent brutal Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since Oct. 7, 2023.
