Rabat – President of the Palestinian National Council, Rawhi Fattouh, highly praised the role of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in supporting Al-Quds and the Palestinian cause, during his visit on Saturday to the headquarters of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency in Rabat, along with the Palestinian ambassador to Morocco, Jamal Al-Shobaki.
A statement by the Agency said that Fattouh highlighted the Kingdom’s honorable positions towards the Palestinian cause, highly appreciated by the Palestinian leaders and people, through the High solicitude with which the Sovereign surrounds the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, and expressed confidence in Morocco’s contribution to support Gaza and lift the injustice suffered by the Palestinian people who remain attached to their land.
For his part, according to the statement, Al-Shobaki recalled the emergency humanitarian aid sent by Morocco to Al-Quds and Gaza, on the instructions of His Majesty the King, welcoming the royal initiative to immediately allocate a hundred additional
scholarships to students in Gaza, an operation that is taking place in coordination with the Palestinian Authority.
Mohamed Salem Echarkaoui, managing director of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, stressed that the institution continues its work in the Holy City, under the direct supervision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, providing all possible assistance to brotherly Palestinians and their institutions, in all circumstances.
