The Palestinian Presidency warned of the seriousness of the situation as a result of the continuous Israeli escalation against the Palestinian people, particularly the punitive measures imposed on prisoners incarcerated in Israel, and the continuation of incursions into Palestinian cities and towns, in addition to the continuation of settlement activities, which will lead to an explosion in the situation that no will be able to control.

The official spokesman for the Presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh stated that the systematic Israeli escalation will have serious repercussions, stressing that the international community must immediately intervene and stop these ongoing crimes committed against the prisoners before it is too late.

He pointed out that that the extremist Israeli government is attempting to thwart all international efforts to defuse the situation through this deliberate escalation, as well as avoid fulfilling its commitments under the signed agreements, particularly the cessation of unilateral actions that are in violation of all international legitimacy resolutions.

Since the rise of Benjamin Netanyahu’s right-wing government, the occupying forces have continued their dangerous escalation against Palestinians in various areas of the occupied territories, resulting in dozens of killings, hundreds of wounded, and the arrest of hundreds, including children, women and liberated prisoners.
