Qatar Digital Academy Unveils 77 Additional Courses for Q3-Q4 2024

Qatar Digital Academy announced it would hold 77 additional courses for Q3 and Q4 of 2024 on a wide range of technical areas including cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and project management.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) said that AI courses were designed for managers and administrative staff with the aim of enabling them to lead the digital transformation in their institutions, noting that this step comes within the framework of the Academys efforts to achieve its goals of empowering energies and refining skills in the growing digital labor market.

MCIT’s Assistant Undersecretary for Digital Industry Affairs, Reem Mohammed Al Mansoori, said that the new training strategy aims to achieve practical steps to support the implementation of the Third National Development Strategy 2024-2030, by concluding new partnerships and providing various trainings for public sector staff.

She added that the new strategy will focus on developing digital skills in the fields of arti
ficial intelligence, cybersecurity, the Internet of Things, big data, and other fields that will contribute to achieving the goals of the digital agenda and Qatar National Vision 2030, enabling Qatar to benefit from the Fourth Industrial Revolution to develop an advanced, innovative, and pioneering digital economy, and push Qatar towards a bright and prosperous future.

She stressed that this launch reflects the MCIT’s commitment to develop Qatari talents and government sector employees in general, and prepare them to be at the forefront of the national digital transformation, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030 and by focusing on developing the digital skills and competencies of the workforce in the government sector.

She added that the Academy contributes directly to achieving the sixth pillar of the Digital Agenda 2030: Future Leading Digital Society, and the Strategic National Outcome 3: Future-Ready Workforce.
