The State of Qatar participated in the 9th meeting of the Undersecretaries of the Ministries of Labor in the GCC countries, which was held via visual communication technology.
The state was represented at the meeting by Assistant Undersecretary for Expatriate Labor Affairs at the Ministry of Labor Sheikha Najwa bint Abdul Rahman bin Nasser Al-Thani.
The meeting discussed the strategy of joint Gulf action in the field of manpower, which aims to develop joint Gulf action and advance Gulf labor markets and human resources, in addition to issues related to training citizens with the aim of raising the level of national competencies through exchanging expertise in the field of human resource development, as well as strengthening international cooperation between the GCC countries on one side and international organizations specialized in the labor sector on the other.
The meeting dealt with topics related to the field of labor in GCC countries, in addition to the agenda of the next meeting of the GCC Labor Ministers Committee, which is scheduled to be held next September.
