Qatar Stock Exchange Index Begins Trading in Green Zone, Gaining 24.35 Points

Qatar Stock Exchange index gained 24.35 points at the beginning of Monday’s trading, with a growth of 0.24%, to rise to 10150 points, compared to Sunday’s closing, with the support of all sectors that make up the general index.

Figures issued by Qatar Stock Exchange attributed the positive performance to the rise in the real estate sector by 0.78%, the communications sector by 0.58%, the insurance sector by 0.44%, the industries sector by 0.33%, the bank and financial services sector by 0.07% and the consumer goods and services sector by 0.04%. On the other hand, the transport sector declined by 0.02%.

At 10:00 am, Qatar Stock Exchange recorded transactions worth QR 80.075 million, distributed among 46.694 million shares, with the implementation of 2781 transactions. (QNA)
