Qatar Table Tennis Delegation Leaves for Amman to Participate in 2024 West Asia Teams Championship

Doha: Qatar table tennis delegation left Doha today for Amman to participate in the 2024 West Asia Teams Championship to be held at the Sports Palace Hall in Al Hussein Youth City from August 26 to 31.

The delegation includes U-11, U-13, U-15, and U-17 male teams along with the first women’s team and the U-11 female team.

The Qatar Table Tennis Association (QTTA) announced the list of players participating in the tournament, including Sultan Khalid Al Kuwari, Rawad Akram Al Nasser, Ahmed Eid Qurani, and Abbad Nasser Al Abdullah in the U-17 team.

The U-15 team includes Yousef Abdulzaher, Mohammed Al Sulaiti, and Abdulaziz Nasser Al Abdullah, while the U-13 team consists of Issa Al Haddad, Rabia Al Kuwari, and Abdulaziz Al Abdullah. Mubarak Marzouq Al Mansouri and Rabia Khalid Al Kuwari will participate in the U-11 team.

The women’s team includes Maryam Ali, Fawzia Al Maliki, and Aya Majdi, while the U-11 female team consists of Dana Al Kaabi and Serena Sheikh.

annadi held a meeting with the players and members of the delegation, during which he stressed the great confidence in all players in order to achieve positive results and raise the name of Qatar high in the Asian Championship.

In addition to Qatar, the championship will see the participation of hosts Jordan, Iraq, UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, and Kuwait.
